This recipe is from the book "Edible Crafts Kids' Cookbook Ages 4-8: 25 - Fun Projects to Make and Eat!". Heart loves taking recipes from this book and making them into her own creation. We highly recommend this book. Here is one of Hearts favorite recipes from the cookbook.
Carrot sticks, broccoli, or other fresh cut up veggies (optional)
Cherrios, Marshmallows or other o shaped treats (optional)
Instructions
1. Break 3 full sized graham crackers in half so you have 6 square pieces. Set on a plate.
2. In a blender or food processor, take 3 graham crackers and blend. You can also, put the crackers in a sandwich bag and have your child smash them up.
3. In a small bowl put the softened cream cheese and 3 drops of blue food coloring and mix with a spatula. You can add more food coloring if you want it to be a darker blue. Mix until fully blended.
4. Spread the cream cheese on each cracker fully covering one side of the cracker.
5. Place a few goldfish crackers in the middle on the cream cheese then add the vegetables around for plants. Add crushed graham cracker to the bottom for sand and cheerios for bubbles. You can also use marshmallows.
6. Once you have your 6 masterpieces, you can eat!
