Cream Cheese Crescent Roll Dessert

We love desserts and this Strawberry Cream Cheese Dessert is one of new favorites! This easy to make dessert is made with just a few ingredients and one being Pillsbury Crescent Rolls.  I would normally use these crescent rolls to make cinnamon rolls, pigs in a blanket for the kids and spinach and cheese rolls.  This Strawberry Cream Cheese Dessert is going to be moving those out of the way for my favorite thing to make with the crescent rolls.

This recipe is so easy to make you will wonder how you never did this before now.  If you are like me, you like recipes that don’t put you in the kitchen for hours especially when you have kids running around.  This recipe takes no time at all.  It takes about 30 minutes to make the entire dessert.

Easy to make and fun for kids

To get started make sure you have 2 packages of the Pillsbury Crescent Rolls, fresh strawberries, cream cheese, sugar, and strawberry jam.  If you don’t like strawberries you can always substitute them with fresh blackberries and blackberry jam, fresh raspberries and raspberry jam, or apple pie filling.

I used a pizza pan since it will help create the round ring shape we will be making. Line it with a circle piece of parchment paper.  Pop open the cans of dough and cut each slice in half. Then place them in a wreath shape with the small ends hanging off the pan and the large ends all touching in the middle.  Leave an open circle in the middle of the pan.  Press together the crescent roll large ends so they are all connected.

Then you will spread the cream cheese mixture on the large part of your crescent rolls making a full circle.  Layer the fruit mixture on top of the cream cheese.  Kids will like to do this part.

Fold over the crescent roll ends to the center of the pan and bake for 15-18 minutes.  While baking, make your glaze mix with only milk and powdered sugar and a splash of vanilla extract if you wish.

This dessert is perfect for the holidays or everyday get togethers.  I love this so much it will be our next Christmas morning breakfast.
