Do you love cookies as much as Jewels does? She absolutely loves making cookies and this is a recipe you will love too! These chocolate chip oatmeal cookies are the perfect mix between an oatmeal cookie and chocolate cookie. They are so easy to make that even young kids can make them (with a little adult supervision). Eat them warm or even better eat them with vanilla ice cream sandwiched between them.
These cookies are the perfect addition to any holiday party dessert table, birthday party goodie bags or just to have on the counter for a daily snack.
The dough can be frozen to bake later but we do not recommend eating the cookie dough due to raw eggs.
You can substitute the powdered chocolate chips with white chocolate chips or omit them completely.
Add ons include, dried cranberries, white chocolate chips instead of the whole semi sweet morsels, or ground up walnuts.
You can refrigerate the baked cookies for up to a week or freeze wrapped in foil, saran wrap and a freezer bag for a few months. Warm them up in microwave when ready to eat.
