Jewels and Heart love fun books that can repeatedly make them laugh, even if they’ve heard the same story a thousand times. Jewels is now at an age where she can start reading to Heart, and omg it’s the sweetest thing. It makes me tear up sometimes watching her read to her little sister the same books I read to her when she was a baby. Can she stop growing?! Time is going too fast! Anyway, these are some of our favorite children book finds on Amazon.

1. Elephant & Piggie Books by Mo Willems
Elephant & Piggie books by Mo Willems are by far the kids favorite children’s book Amazon finds. The funny story lines and easy to read text keeps them engaged and wanting to read them over and over AND over! These books even helped Jewels learn to read, and Heart to learn to memorize. At 3 and 6 yrs old they were acting out the “We Are in a Book” book! Here are some of their favorite titles.
We first heard about The Book With No Pictures by B.J. Novak when it was read by Paul Scheer on the Save with Stories instagram page. The kids laughed hysterically at the video, so I knew I had to purchase it. Now every time their dad reads it (in the Paul Scheer way) they can’t stop laughing. And it really is a book with NO Pictures.

The Serious Goose by Jimmy Kimmel, host of ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, is a fun book about a goose who is so serious and nothing will make him laugh. Or is there?

When I was a kid, I had quite a collection of books on cassette tape. They were all Disney When I found these on Amazon I was so excited to pass this along to my kids. They have quite a few books now and love sitting together listening to the stories.
Danica McKellar is a best selling author, actress and math wiz! She has a collection of books available on Amazon but this one is one Jewels and Heart’s favorite. It’s a story taking children on a whimsical journey with fairies while learning to count to 10.
Great Scott! Heart has followed her Dad’s footsteps in his love for the Back to the Future movies. He bought this book for her and she loves having him read it to her.
“This story illustrated by Kim Smith captures all the classic moments of the film through fun and kid-friendly illustrations. Follow teenage Marty McFly as he travels from 1985 to 1955, meets his parents (as teenagers), and teaches his father how to stand up to bullies. Complete with a time-traveling DeLorean, a mad scientist companion, and a lightning-fueled finale, this is the perfect book for kids, parents, and anyone looking to go back in time.”
Dr. Seuss books are in almost all children’s book collections but if you are missing any, feel free to check these out. They are wonderful books that are our favorite children’s book Amazon finds. These books teach kids to read, to rhyme and have fun with their mind feeling free. From “What Pet Should I Get?” to “Green Eggs and Ham“, these books are classic so read with your fam! See what I did there? HAHA.

“How did you learn patience as a child? In the story, little Candace decides to give her classroom garden a little help so it can quickly grow the flowers of her dreams . . . but soon discovers patience is the best plan after all. New York Times bestselling author and actress Candace Cameron Bure (Netflix’s Fuller House) celebrates spring with Grow, Candace, Grow, the second book in her popular picture book series. “
We are huge fans of her and her Magnolia empire. This children’s book is the #1 New York Times Best Seller and when you read it you will see why. The book rounds up the kids favorite children’s book Amazon finds. It’s a story about a group of children who make hot air balloons and learn to work together using their own special skills. They learn that even if they are different, they can all work together to make something amazing. Everything Joanna Gaines touches turns to gold just like this book.
