Animal foods are one of the best ways to get kids engaged in cooking, or eating new things. We’ve made cookie bugs, sheep and owl cupcakes and now these super fun froggy cookies. These Froggy Cookies are easy to make with kids if you have a few hours to spare. Kids can be creative as they want making the faces and decorating them.
Start with making your sugar cookies. We recommend making them a bit on the smaller side but the bigger the cookie, the bigger the frog, so it’s up to you what you’d like to make. Parchment paper is fantastic underneath your cookie dough as it won’t burn the baking sheet nor the cookies. It makes them easy to remove too.
