I searched online for a Waffles & Mochi doll for the kids but there wasn’t any available. I thought, I have a bunch of fabric I’m not using anymore from past projects, I bet I could make my own. One problem, I don’t know how to sew. I can hand sew but knew I needed a machine. Luckily my Mom came to the rescue and we worked together to create a pattern and sew it together. It took 1 1/2 weeks to finish them, some glue, paint, fabric, stuffing and a lot of patience but I’m so proud of how they turned out.
These were shared as part of the Waffles & Mochi Fan Art fridays they have on their Instagram account which was pretty exciting!

The theme song is super fun and catchy and sung by Maya Rudolf. My kids go around signing it and then my husband and I have it stuck in our heads for hours.
Waffles and Mochi are one of Jewels and Heart’s favorite shows and we actually have made this part of our family tv time and we watch it all together. When your kid is not afraid to try mushrooms because Waffles tried it, this show is a win! LOL.
